Why t-shirts, caps, koozies, jigsaw puzzles and what-have-you from travel stops?

The Memories. Of course, many of us purchase t-shirts, caps, shotglasses or whatever DURING our visits to various travel spots so that we can remember the fun we had or because we just like the design of the item or for any number of reasons.

The Mindset. Like other apparel, our t-shirts, caps, etc. can be an indication of how we think. Even while we are at home, we are thinking about travel and far-off places.

The Experiences. These items show where we’ve been (if, sometimes, only in our minds).

The Aspirations. Yes, we plan or hope to return. Maybe we hope to go for the first time (and soon).

The Interconnections. Isn’t it surprising the number of conversations that get started between complete strangers because of a t-shirt or cap or koozie? It shouldn’t be. You are telling the world a lot about yourself with these items. You like to travel. You like to have fun. You think beyond the here and now. You, too, happily suffer from wanderlust.

This website isn’t about selling you t-shirts. It’s about remembering where we’ve been and, perhaps more importantly, about discovering the places we’ve never been – never even heard of.  That’s the true nature of wanderlust.
